Before I took the decision to open up I applied for work at the local Saab dealer that had just opened up a new shop close to me (Saab of Southbay).
I thought it would be better to get in at a newly opened shop where it was no ones territory and no old rules.

My hopes were to get in and later climb in the ranks to become one of those tech support that traveled around to dealerships or teaching tech classes.

Lucky for me, they offered such a lousy starting pay and that I also had to start working at an older dealership further away from me so I decided to open up my own shop instead.

Hopefully this will keep me going until retirement. I see we are the same age, well ha,ha, you are older than me by 5 month or so.
