Even just 6-cylinders feel stout compared to the electric-like pull of a boost 4-cylinder.
Saab/Opel uses LDK where Regal GS and Verano 2.0T use LHU. Yet the 2014 Regal GS use the LAF of the ATS and Malibu. The revisions are more refinement but not sure of the European differences.
Like Justin mentions you might want to compare apples-to-apples. Dyno graphs are a good way to see how each compares through the operating range. You'd also find that the LHU w 2.0T will a tune and support like intake and exhaust will hold torque longer than the same modifications on the 2.8T V6 Aero. Mostly due to variable valve timing.
