Agreed on snowy roads I would take my viggen over a vette with its very wide tires
Accident wise I would highly doubt a viggen would hold up as well as a c7 vette in a new accident. Even back when the viggens were new the body wasn't very good safety wise. Offset frontal collision had severe foot intrusion. Highly doubt a new vette with all the new crash tests would perform that bad.
Engine wise remember this is a base vette. Looking at the c6 vette GM itself doesn't list the vette as a sports car but a grand touring car. Not until you get to the zo6 does it become a sports car. I forget if it was car and driver or road and track that compared various version of the c6 vette from base to the race c6r.
Ben enjoying my viggen for close to 10 years now..... Hopefully get another 10+ out of it
