That must have been a challenging job. Agree Hyundai/KIA products are much improved but they are now getting up there in price which I feel diminishes the overall value proposition but they have now broader consumer acceptance and they appear to be pumping major dollars into marketing - a least what I've seen in the US market.
A fully loaded KIA Sorrento or Hyundai Sante Fe lists for just a bit under $40k and they are well equipped but I don't think the engineering isn't quite equal to the better auto makers in some aspects but for most buyers they cannot tell or don't value the differences.
I read somewhere recently that Hyundai/KIA is the 8th most valuable auto maker and that they rank no 6 in total WW sales.
