but that is not essential. There are places that re-use old motor oil. I've never done that. Rust Check and Krown are formulated for the specific application - there is this thin creeping stuff that they spray in cavities - it creeps into every seam. It almost defies gravity - the stuff gets almost everywhere. Then there is thick goo which they can use to undercoat. I have sprayed this on bare or rusty spots on the winter beater and just driven it. Very little happens - the gunk stays on for weeks or months, gets dirty, but keeps protecting. It's like a spray on bandaid. Pretty cool.
