Someone on c900 bb suggested Kano. I'm not sure if maybe Ziebart is also? See link.
My feeling is that oil, while messy, is more protective than wax. Eg bike chain. Wax based lubes are great for a short time and clean. Oil based lubes are dirty, collect dirt, so hard on the chain, but the damn thing will never rust as long as there is oil on it. A few wet days after a wax lube and I get surface rust. Obviously the rust proofing formulations are designed for that, not for chains and should be better... but the old saying of "oil tractor so it won't rust" still holds imho.
Rust Check and Krown are oil based. The spray used in the pictures I posted/linked to was the same as comes in this can:
