BobS, I also live in Illinois and would like to preserve my new-to-me 9000 Aero. What are you using for a rust inhibitor.

Also, specific to 9000s, any idea on what to do around the rear upper shock mounts? This seems to be an area where salty water gets in and causes big problems - had to have metal repair done on my last one.
