That's kind of our take too. We've lived in Grand Haven off and on for 41 years. Our relatives are here, our kids and grand kids are here. I suspect that kind of support will be invaluable going forward. We've moved around a lot in the last ten years and lived in some really beautiful places but none of them were "home." Nine months a year living here is total bliss. Winter can be a little trying but it's much easier to take when you don't have to commute somewhere everyday. I actually enjoy snowshoeing and other winter activities. It's the lack of sunshine that bothers me the most. A couple of weeks someplace warm would do me just fine. Maybe some day I'll do the "snowbird" thing but for now winter is part of the ying and yang of living in West MI.
