AFAIK: oil spilled all over the place underneath car. Smells like burned oil. No engine light. Someone is looking at it this morning, average repair shop, so who knows at this point. Many complications: car would be full of her camping stuff, no real time to risk driving it very far, I think. Mechanic (friend of friend) who looked at it said enough oil to drive. Before all this started going on, reported car difficult to come up to speed. Threw a couple of codes: one for exhaust - system just replaced except for "Rube Goldberg" fix applied by long-gone Saab whisperer. Also P1181, which I don't think has anything to do with oil - is fuel related.
