Ok, how does $3.24 per US Gallon of GAS sound?
Not good. Sure we all feel better paying $4.29!

In Europe more the 70% of all tax income that is
levied from fuel taxes is used to patch up budget
deficits in the social security area...

Honestly this whole CO2 reduction program is by no
means serious. Look if Europe wanted to reduce emissions
they would simply enforce a CAP on average fuel consumption.
This way manufacturers could not sell gas guzling cars. Bye VW W8...
But that's not what they do cause with ever rising
social security defficits the last thing in the world
they wish for is less fuel sales!

So what they do is simple, they sign and raise Gas taxes
and pretend that this would reduce CO2 emissions. All BS
as we all know that many people can affors $5 a Gallon
in Europe.

And anyways the trend goes towards dirty Diesel cars and
ever more powerfull Gas powered cars. Which is fine with
Euro. Gov. cause this way they can levy maximal taxes which
they need cause they're all borke cause of their social security
abuses. Honestly, if Euro. countries were companies they would
all be under Ch11.

Guess whats next... HAHA EU wants to outlaw LOW OCTANE GAS... HAHA
cause its to cheap and they get less taxes of it!!! GET THIS!!!
So no more 87 Octane that can be ussed in some engines and at
altitude.

Guess whats in the pipeline... HAHA a rise in taxes on DIESEL fuel
cause its too cheap... HAHA...

I think BUSH is on target when he says this whole Kyoto thing is
way off target.

If we want to burn less fuel... simple put a CAP on fuel burn for
cars and SUVs... its very effective! But then EU Gov. would quickly
go broke!

Regards,
Coolknight
