I guess you have not really read anything scientific about Climate change.
All I can say is when your house or home gets flooded or
that piece of road you love to drive get covered in Sand Dunes think
what could have been done around about the year 2000. Or will
it take a Category 6 Hurricane (Hypercane) drowning millions on the US eastern seaboard? before people go 'What have WE done'.
It is a Shame. So many people suckered by the Global Car machine.

The US Car makers have a huge lobby in Washington. Of course
they want to continue selling huge disposable SUV's (that frankly
I would not drive even near any real 4x4 trails).

The real problem is lack of imagination & intelligence. Not Kyoto.

The EU is being held up as a wipping boy and the US will buy into
a 'blame' or distraction.
