Yeah, Chinese hardwood. I usually don't pay attention to '60 Minutes' anymore because of their biases (in my opinion) but they had a story recently on the high levels of formaldehyde in the glue used in Chinese laminate flooring and how it's making people sick here.

There are some many Chinese products I simply will not buy because of the quality control and endemic corruption there. FWIW, I bought two bags of frozen spinach at my local supermarket recently (a Safeway company) and the bag said 'Product of China. Packed in Canada). I have no issues whatsoever, of course, with Canadian-grown food but I won't eat anything grown in China because I don't trust their food safety / inspection regime. I brought the bags back to the store for a refund.
