you will only achieve your max potential by first fixing fueling and timing issues, then adding water. waxing before allowing the paint to cure will only muddy things up and make it harder to get it right. but do it when it's time and it will really shine.
i agree on adding water for more power. not just because of the increase in air density of the intake air, but also the cooler temperatures allowing more timing advance. in fact, the wolf system has a staged injection output which i am not using now. it is controlled as a percentage of injector #1. therefore when i ever do add water, it will be easy to drive the water off the staged injection output by simply setting the percentage to 15-25% of injector #1. then the water will follow the fuel map. but until i get the timing and fueling right, there is no reason to increase the complexity.
as far as the new engine, i'm about 700 miles shy of 3000. i may go a little longer just for a little added comfort, but i'm getting pretty close. i plan on running around 21 psi max boost. no real reason to go much higher since i already had 213whp with only 13psi before. i think 21 psi will be a nice sweet spot (and i would have to reconfigure the map sensor to go higher). at any rate, should have it dialed in pretty well by the end of summer.
