If one were to head over to Supraforums.com, and read about these guys putting out 600-700hp at the wheels, no one ever mentions water injection. And this would be on a 3.0L straight six. Not saying that water is a bad idea, just saying that I don't think it's crucial. I know that the Supra tuner in Calgary, who ran One Lap a few years ago, doesn't do water. He hacks the Toyota EFI and no problem, 500hp+ at the wheels. Just stupid power.
I have all of the nozzles and such to fit water to my car, but for ease of initial tuning, I think I'm going to leave it out first. See where I'm at, and go from there. 55# injectors...hopefully will be enough!
Kooch, what are you running for injectors again? Perhaps someday I will use the SDS sequential injection setup - mount 8 30#s and go from there.
