Karl,
I didn't personally monitor EGT's in this particular car, because it is still mostly stock.(ie: no gauges, I haven't even installed a boost gauge yet!) Fortunately, Eric P was right behind me on his Dyno run, has an EGT monitor, and was concerned that his Temps were TOO LOW! I have had PLENTY of tweaked out 9000's and 900's in my 13 years with Saabs, and have No concerns with this one at all. I am thrilled that I have had to do so little with it to make it fly *consistently*.

Brad Schafner of Georges Imports, a well respected Master tech and career racer/tuner/enthusiast, has been dyno tuning saabs for countless years and has arrived at the number of @14.5% for NG900/9-3/9000. A few guys using Maptun software dynoed there cars in the UK about a year ago(Pete and Bill?) and came to the conclusion that they had over 20%drivetrain loss! I find that hard to believe, but they made quite a case for this method of dumping the clutch and letting the car use roll back resistance or something to quantify there numbers. Either way, he made just under 260 or something close.

I don't have a clue as to what kind of Dyno we used, maybe one of the 50 or so people that were there could chime in. I do know that each run was fairly long, maybe a just under a minute or so, with about 15 seconds of cool down. Pretty stale air with a *tiny* little fan about a mile away from the cars. I hope to have some pictures up soon of the Dyno and I will certainly provide you with the sheet. I'm pretty sure it made max power at 5200 RPM.
