I haven't read all the posts concerning the above fatalities, however I think we are needlessly burying too many kids. I agree wholeheartedly we are deploying progressively faster cars and handing the keys to inexperienced young adults without fully developed prefrontal cortexes (cortices?). In Washington where I live we have buried five kids under 18 in under a month in speed related accidents. The graduated license failed because it was ignored. Better training -on the order of the Aero Academy sponsored by Saab would be a great start. Parents exercising parental oversight and nixing inappropriate cars should be part of the solution. It is really sad to see completely needless traffic fatalities and we all have a responsibility to be part of the solution.
