In addition to above, here is a bit more information on the version numbers of TIS 2000 and Tech2:

TIS 2000 > Help > Main Help > About: SAAB Automobile AB - Edition 2008-2

TIS 2000 > Software Download > Custom shows the following:
==> Left Side: "Applications for Downloading" (left side): 135, 136, 44
==> Right Side: Selected 44, "Current": 148

So this seems to indicate the Tech2 has version 148, but my TIS 2000 available versions are only 135, 136, or 44. Should I manually downgrade the Tech2 to version 136 (the highest showing in TIS 2000)? Or instead do I need to find an updated TIS 2000 that would be up to version 148?

Thanks again, any confirmation from someone with a working installation on what versions are available in the TIS 2000 software and what version is on the Tech2 would be appreciated.
