At least you didn't have to pay the full price.

I don't think you are aware of what Saab is doing with pricing since they started to supply parts again. It is some fresh out of high school yahoo pushing the buttons on the pricing matrix and we don't know from one month to the other what the price will be.

The TWICE unit for a 9-5 p/n 12767179 seems to be retailing at 846.92 right now. Last time I changed the price in my program, the retail was at $378.47 and the last time I had to buy a new one the price was at $593.75

All that might scramble the brains of part suppliers wondering if they should just drop you cold or call you or ship the part to the new price. They have as little control over it as you and me.

Take fuel pumps for instance, Saab just dropped the price from around $560.00 to $299.00 last month.

It is a hassle trying to quote jobs and I have to double check the parts price every time so I don't make a mistake.
If it is someone that have gotten info from the internet from a year or two ago (or last month) about a repair cost they might think I'm crazy when I tell them what it will cost.
