Wonderful car, my 3rd Saab (two 9-5s and a 9-3 for my kid). I have an 02 Aero with nonventilated seats. Extremely comfortable on long trips, as everyone says. I get 30 mpg on the Interstate. The 4 is a bit rough at idle, and noticeably less smooth than the supercharged 4 on my former Mercedes SLK, but acceleration is awesome and at highway speeds it cruises quietly.I like it better than the LPT 6 on my departed '99 95 SE. It is damn close to a BMW 5 in terms of performance and comfort, and the price is a steal. God knows what will come down the road, now that GM is planning to put Saab and Opel production together in one plant, either in Sweden or Germany. Buy the damn thing now. if you're in snow country, be sure to get a set of winter tires, however. Big difference come February.
