As always, it's interesting how different teams try to solve the same issue. You would think that pulling fuel from a tank would have just one ideal solution - but then some engineer gets given a challenge to work on, some inspiration, no beancounters to justify their work to, and Swedish coffee, and away you go.
That said, did you run a pump of this type in your racecar, and how much of the tank could you use before fuel-starving - was it effective? Filter socks on flat tank bottoms are _not_ very effective :)
