Anyone care to theorize on exactly what the tee in the 1990+ fuel pump circuit does? The actual pump outlet hits a tee, one leg goes to the engine fuel line, the other leg returns to the pump bucket but not before passing through a "vent" to the tank. This is a design Saab stuck with, but it's very different from other vehicle's fuel pumps. What is the design goal of that "bleed" to the pump bucket?
