the ECU limits torque (and therefore power) using the BPC. total boost is higher on 5 speed cars.
the 5 speed can take more power than the auto, according to Saab.
aside from the turbo, the only difference between the 5 speed and the auto Aeros is whether or not the orange wire to pin 14 gets a ground signal.
HP is torque times RPM. If you increase the torque at any given RPM, you'll increase the HP as well. the T25 may not flow as much air as efficiently as the TD04, but the fuse 9 trick most definitely increases the HP of the car.
you say the pin trick increases torque but not power. this is impossible.
