from just about all i have read here, the ECUs are the same for all aeros. i may be wrong, but this is something that has stuck in my head for quite a while.
there is a different ECU for LPT cars, as well as TCS cars.
AFAIK, the pin trick works on a manual ECU in an auto car, implying it is a standard feature.
from what I have read, cutting the wire on an auto aero ECU will give nearly 225 HP, maybe 222 due to the smaller turbo running more outside its efficient zone.
if there is still debate on this, maybe we should take it to Performance and get Jak to tell what he knows. i'll cheerfully admit i'm wrong and aplolgize.
fuse 9 doesn't affect my brakes either.
