I have a good Bondhus set of ball-end hexes....no room with the fender liner still in the car. Barely room for the short end of the wrench. I couldn't get the lower bolt out without a crow bar to get the fender liner out of the way. I am going to try a short piece of 8 mm hex key about an inch long in an 8 mm 1/4" drive shallow socket and a 1/4" drive ratchet. That should fit where the 3/8" drive wouldn't. Yep, I know about the bushing. After I broke the bolt loose I sprayed some PB Blaster on the threads and I could turn them by hand....but only by the finger tips of my left hand....and it was getting COLD! Not a good time of year to do work in the driveway....at night.
I ordered a bunch of parts from eEuro, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, tensioner, plus some other stuff I need to address.... clutch slave line and hose, headlight relay, T-stat for the wife's CSE, yada, yada, yada...
