let me put it this way, I found it intriguing that wobbly clutch and shuddering and noise problems exist from the start. And yes, I agree with the article--it does make sense to make the clutch the weak link so it will take the brunt of the damage as opposed to the transmission given the incredible torque and AWD of the car.

But, this intial poor clutch feel is frankly a little concerning--particularly for a $30K car that I am considering buying--that's my point. And Saab drivers are more interested in performance and do drive their cars harder than most people. If we didn't, we would have bought Volvos.
