#1: I'd be very interested in where you got this very detailed information about how the exact procedure is in New Orleans.
#2: Your argument is moot. You keep repeating that there was funds available. Funds were not the problem. Manpower was. When trying to evacuate thousands of people, many of whom didn't want to go, you need troops to keep the order. More troops than available in the City and state. Busdrivers are also needed.
#3: Before the hurricane had even hit New Orleans it would have been very hard to convince the people staying behind that they needed to jump on the busses even if the manpower had been available. It would also have taken a long time. So long that the hurricane had hit when they were in the middle of it. Not good.
And no, your writings are not objective facts. They are politically motivated defences of the government response. Which BTW is taking a massive beating from practically all sides. I mean, you can't possibly claim that the response of FEMA and government was fine and the sole responsiblity of this travesty rests on the governor and mayor?
