lots of choices.
first, nothing is the best, certainly not pella or anderson....
then, it depends on what you are tying to accomplish...how long have your exisiting windows held up...we have a house that dates to the 1770's...we added to and remodeled the kitchen, and used all wood windows from kolbe and kolbe, they matched the look of the muntins and the trim around the windows on the outside, we had a local moulding cutter handle the inside trim.
Also, had good experience with marvin windows, these are equally pricey....cetainly a step up from andersons and pellas. Might be overkill for your project, but if you want these to last more than 10 years, you should shop carefully, a lot of junk out there.
