Try going so slow that you could talk to a person running with you without gasping for breath. Every so often do an interval of speed just to wake everything up.
As somebody else said, the miles you do are more important than speed, at least to a point. If you are going too fast to be able to talk for too long, you're just buring muscle and hurting yourself.
You also may have just been overtraining and need to take a few days off altogether.
I used to run all the time. In high school we were cross country champions all four years. Now I bike because it's more fun but I miss running at times.
