could you send me any that you would be disposing of? Lol
I still have my OM-1 with a winder and a nice zuiko 35-70 f4.0 lense, but it doesn't get much use anymore.
I got a sony FD-91 that records to floppy, back in the dark ages. I still use it for stuff for the web. it only does .8MP, but it's a true SLR and it has a 14x optical lense. it's truely amazing! only down side is time to record to floppy means you wait between shots, makes you think!
so then I got, for $450 new on discontinued close out, an Olympus RS-100. only 1.5MP, however it does a true 15FPS! with an optical 10x lense. great for action stuff, kids little league and batting practice as well as getting some excellent daylight photos at pro baseball. when you half press shutter, besides getting focus set, it will start a capture process and if you full press keep those as part of the sequence. if you release they get dumped.
then I got a cool pix 8700, also on a closeout of inventory for $430, does 8MP and has a great lense 8x optical. It does very well too but the RS is the one for action shots.
Funny thing is the Sony does the best on flash and it's the easiest to use.
saving my coins and waiting for a camera that will do almost all of the above, and has changable lenses. oh, and it has to use CF media, I've got a bunch of that too.
