OT Home fuse box

The wife and I are looking for our first home purchase. She really likes a 1925 2/1 bungalow that was obviously owned by someone in their 80's. I noticed that the electrical was connected to fuses, rather than the circuit breakers I've known my whole life. All the electric worked, but a lot of the lights were the florescent bar type bulbs (yuck). Otherwise the home is in great shape, just really outdated in the bathroom and kitchen.
How concerned should I be about the fuse box? What is involved in upgrading it to a circuit breaker?
Thanks,
93Gator
