3.5 years ago I was able to buy a three year old '99 CPO 9-3 for about 15K +ttl. In the meantime the price of these cars has not increased that much for a new one. The 2 local dealers have few CPO's and they want 20K for a three year old linear with medium miles. At least 21 to 22K for a used Arc. That is way too much. I was able to get a very good deal on a new one. The new ones are basically Arc's. Non certified 9-3's are about 16K at non saab dealers. I would have had to go 400 miles to get a market price. I am not in Boston. $4000 is a lot to pay for a warranty that may be only two+ years.
