For the tv to audio cabinet it's a short run, like 4 foot, so I will be able to snake the wires even though it's a wall with insulation. I was thinking of putting a string behind the wall and running it from top to bottom, tie it on both ends and make it long enough. This way I could then pull any future wire I may need. i found online wallplates that allow cables to pass through into the wall. This is the way to go. I got the link from another reply to this post. (see link) The plastic conduit sounds good for another location. I would install it there for an 8 foot run, floor to ceiling, or more accurately, basement to attic, behind a wall that's now open, for a future.
