and yet... looking at the latest Porsche 911 (or whatever it's called today) it looks suspeciously like my 1968 911... stepwise refinement. And before you throw rocks, yes they did fall off the wagon with the 912, 914, 914-6, 924 and 944, and then a 912e, but then got right back on the horse and continued! Remind you of anyone? 99 to a 900 and then fell off the wagon with 9-3 and 9-5? at least the 9000 came with a hatch.
