Not sure what you're driving currently (a 9000?), but I would jump at a $90/month $0 down lease on an Optima, if that's really the bottom line. They make a turbo version that is very appealing as a three year car, hopefully it's not much more. Maybe you can pick one up for me too?
FYI, the charger that comes with a Chevy Volt is 110 VAC; installation consists of plugging it into the wall, or for more permanence put two #10 screws in the wall vertically 12" apart and slide the charger's holes over them. Perhaps the Honda comes with a 220 VAC charger; you need a 220 outlet in your garage, but it charges twice as fast. The default charge rate on the Volt is at 8 Amps (you can kick it up to 12 Amps), and it takes quite a long time to recharge fully. My guess is that they did this to avoid people tripping circuit breakers in their garage if they have a 15 Amp circuit and also have a refrigerator going!
