Though they were fairly conventional, the OG 9-5 is probably the best Saab ever as a transpostation device. And the fact is there seem to be plenty of low mileage cream puffs that turn up regularly here and places like Bring A Trailer, etc. So, when people ask on here about something to replace Saabs, I assume they know about the 9-5 and for some reason have rejected the idea--so I don't suggest it. The thing I don't understand is why? There mught be some age related issues, some parts might hard to find, you'd obviously have to pay more than market value for a nice one but it would still be cheaper than any new car. And it would be a Saab. There's no reason they wouldn't be a perfectly acceptible daily driver. Maybe there's something I'm missing. So my question is why don't the many ex-Saab drivers go that route?
