I drove Saabs for nearly 20 years and enjoyed every minute of it--and Saabnet was a big factor in making it work. But time marches on and things change. Truth be told I don't know if there really is a new car out there that captures the magic that was Saab in the 80's, 90's, and early 00's. It was a different time and place that won't be back. I've been on a bit of an automotive odyssey, so to speak, and decided to go in a totally different direction (8 years driving Wranglers) rather than try to recapture the Saab vibe. Plus I had the chance to experience a wide range of exotic high end cars in my previous job working for the ultrawealthy. And now, much to my own surprise I found a Honda was the car that met my needs and desires at this stage of my life. In the back of my mind is the notion that I might at some point have another Saab, but it would pretty be as a fun car and not a daily driver. I guess you'll just have to figure out what floats your boat--might be something totally different--embrace it.
