My 2011 NG 9-5 might have met the end of the road, it has 196,000 miles on it and yesterday Just died on the interstate, came to a stop and just died, no sound just silence, went to restart it and it sounded like a can of marbles being tossed around, of course we were 6 hours from home when it happened, had it towed to a saab indie in VA and rented a car for a week. Would have made 200,000 by the end of the month with 2 big trips planned, so if it is gone what to replace it with, I will keep the 04 vert so there will still be 2 Saabs but I need a daily and with the last NG over 12 years old, I do not see it being a saab. I drive a lot and do not want a CUV, a BMW or a EV. Been looking at a Alfa sedan but not sure I want to jump into that. I do 95% of my driving solo. Maybe take my chanced on another VW wagon ? Car prices are still nuts out there but I may be able to make do for a few months to find the right one, was planning on teh youngest driver getting the 9-5 when he gets his DL this month. Any ideas I may be missing. TIA
