I'm less interested in Volvos from the 2008 era because I'd just buy yet another Saab... But 2015 and newer, with Chinese ownership, how do they stack up?

They seem to still have good seats and ergonomics and safety. I've heard wheel bearings go quickly. Lots of electronics... Anything else?

I would love to get a larger hybrid wagon from them, but it seems these are playing second fiddle to the SUVs in terms of development. As I understand it though, the xc90 is a thru the road plug in hybrid with a smaller battery, which might work well for our use case (long trips, or quite short commute). If it doesn't drive like a boat, it might be interesting.

I guess at some point, many of us will need to find some other option for newer cars, even if we still plan to keep a few Saabs around. It can be tricky on long trips if something breaks...
