I've gone through the same thing (crying, illness, ange, the works) in a very similar situation. The bottom line is that Lyssette's desire to see other's has most likely nothing to do with you. According to what you said she's receiving a lot of out side pressure about seeing other people, so when she got a "feeling" she felt like she had to go with it. I get "crushes" all the time on girls and don't let that effect my relationship with my current girlfriend why? cause I've been around the block a few times and I know it will happen and I don't have to act on it and it doesn't mean that I care less about my girlfriend. if Lys never went out with anyone else, every time she finds herself attracted to another guy she'll think something is wrong with you guys.
Basically I think that this is something that your relationship has to go through and in the end either you guys will get back together and your relationship will be stronger than it ever was before or you'll realize that it was never going to last.
Right now all you can do I ride it out, What happens is going to depend much more on the five years you already spent together than on anything you do now.
My best advise is to avoid self destructive behavoir that you'll regret later. And if you can pull yourself together go out hang with your friends, watch movie, go for a drive, try to keep yourself occupied. Also try to avoid drinking cause it seems to help at first and then you find yourself a big,crying, snotty mess on the floor.
