I said 300k, which at 25 mpg it comes to 12,000 gallons.
If you think the difference between 0w20 and 5w40 will be 1/4% - well, please tell me where you get the stuff you are smoking?
Brian said 5w40 is better because it has higher viscosity - to which I said he will pay at the pump more than any potential savings in engine wear.

New Shell oil allows 6.5% better mpg than 10w30.
