HTHS, measured in the bearing, is very low for a 40 weight with OW40. By design, the oil in the 9-5 runs very hot - 60F hotter than the C900. Any 5W40 or 10W40 synthetic will perform better in the bearings than the 0W40.
The Caveat? TDT, and for that matter many XW40 oils (including Mobil 1 10W40 High Mileage) have high levels of zinc disomething phosphate, which is thought by some to reduce catalytic converter life. With the minimal oil consumption characteristic of the Saab engines, this may be more of a theoretical concern, but it's out there.
