Pretty noticeable improvement, fairly easy and cheap. Now to attack the subframe bushings next. My indie will have to do these, he is wanting me to go with polyurethane bushings as they are easier for him to install. They typically come in two pieces and you don't need a press. Although I used them on my 00 9-3 SE I am not sure that I would like them on this car, I think I would get a lot more vibration from my little grumbly 2.3 four.
Others here have said they squeak and make noise and they transmit more vibes throughout the car. I can tell he really does not want to press in rubber bushings. But I am thinking that is the way to go. I don't autocross this thing, it is just a daily driver. Not that will ever be anything like wife's S80, but the Aero suspension gets tiresome on rough roads.
