2004 sedan. Water in the passenger side foot well. Like, a lot. Not the condensation drain (water gets in during rain storms when not driven). I've got the cowl out and cleaned that whole area. I've also pulled the seat and the foam. I did not pull the foam/rubber piece that covers the firewall area as it looks like it goes behind the whole ACC box and I didn't want to damage it or rip everything out... The bottom part is wet though, especially closer to the door.
Running a garden hose, water goes down all 3 drains. The passenger side one looks clean from the top and water comes out of the rear part of the fender and what looks like a drain in the lower A pillar by the door opening. Is there somehow a gap somewhere in that path where water can leak through the firewall? Is there a cavity in the fender that collects debris? I was careful to make sure the water only went into the trough for the drains and not backing up into the blower motor area etc.
Any thoughts?
