Thanks both of you for the sunroof tips, as I should clean those out also to be proactive.
That said, if I pour water directly into the cowl from a garden hose on a sunny day, I can see some water come out on the car floor. Most of the water comes out through the rear of the fender and by the door, but some trickles out into the floor (carpets and foam are removed from the floor, and the car is not being driven). The trickle doesn't happen immediately - it is as if debris somewhere becomes saturated first and backs up water. I haven't been able to access any more debris though... Do the sunroof drains share the same drain path as the outer cowl drains? Or maybe I am just applying too much water flow in my test?
I'm trying to get this fully debugged before reinstalling the carpets because it takes forever for that foam to dry out.
