Thanks, so I blew compressed air down the sunroof drain lines. Then tested by pouring water into them. On the passenger side, all the water runs out near the B pillar (from under the plastic sill trim). On the driver's side it runs out from both the B pillar and another spot nearer the A pillar, also under the sill trim. No evidence of water getting into the cabin floor. Water isn't backing up in the sunroof either - it seems to run freely.

However, I have partially removed the fender and when I run a garden hose into the passenger side cowl area drain (the plastic cowl is removed), I can see where water trickles out. It looks like water drains from the cowl back towards the cabin/firewall (at glove box height) inside the metal structure and exits into the fender via some holes. It doesn't seem very accessible. Is that the way it is supposed to drain? I would have thought there would be a more direct path?
