Now I know why I have a bag of dahlPins ( dowel pins ) that are straight....I forgot why I had to get those. The flywheel we just surfaced had the stepped pins -- it was a 1988 turbo.
So Walt, what you're saying is the 1990-1993 ( later model ) flywheels have the straight pins with no thru hole for the pin? I'm out of the late model flywheels, so I don't have one to look at.
RS -0- sorry about the post earlier to suggest pushing them out forward, as if what Walt is saying is like your flywheel, then it would be impossible to do it that way. HOWEVER, I've seen the flywheels mixed up in the cars, so an early model flywheel could easily be put into an late model car. In that event, then RS could punch out the stepped pins from Walt's comments.
