Did you get the slave out? I'm just guessing that the slave is still in the mix and preventing the PP from being able to be wiggled out after it's broken loose from the grip of the flywheel and the dahlPins.
So, not a similar situation, but one time had to sacrifice the slave by cutting through it with a sawsall blade after of course, the input shaft was removed. Then, it gave us HeeMen more room to swing a hammer.
As the old Swede in a Minnesota foreign car salvage yard told me...."never force anyteng....just juse biggar haammer"
Have you used the hot wrench yet? Maybe a couple of "giterRed" right on the dahlPins will help to free the PP from the FW.
The other thing I was thinking of was how to sneak a big nut in behind the PP fingers and run a bolt through it to put pressure directly on the pilot bearing. Then tighten the bolt to put pressure in the center of the PP to direction load it forward. Then, put some pry bars under the PP against the flywheel and try to pop one of the dahlPins at at time.
It would be like having a reverse of the throwOUT bearing to be able to pull on the PP ... so it would be a throwIN bearing :-)
I could also see welding a bigass flangenut on the PP fingers, then threading a long bolt into the nut, and pushing on the pilot bearing. Might be easier than pulling the engine and doing a gearbox separation.
I know a guy in NC that pulls his engine leaving the gearbox in the car. I can give you his contact info if you want to give that a try. That is still a big PITA for just a clutch job.
