Slower than the 2nd coming... but the top is DONE! What a long strange trip it's been!
I'll host up some pics when I get the chance, but the good news is the top ITSELF is now 100% installed. I still have a brand new headliner to install.... then the wife wants me to sell this car! We shall see about that.
I used the C900 factory instructions which some wonderful person linked me to. I did use the spacers to hold the top "slightly open" while all of the rear window area was reconstructed. I ended up putting that back window on 3 times..... but finally nailed it. The replacement top company instructions were definitely lacking in this area, and I ASSUMED based upon what they shipped me. That was clearly wrong.... then attempt #2 (thankfully I did not cut anything top or bottom off the rear window - guy in Raleigh NC writeup illuminated NOT to do that like he did). Finally I matched the OEM rear window zipper distance up to the #4 bow and held that dimension. My new rear window section fit perfectly after making that final change.
Last is install the headliner, and then the gut wrenching decision.... sell or keep my 91'Vert.
