Hi Joe,
I also have disconnected pin 14 from my ECU (94 CS Auto FPT). I found the difference to be amazing, boosting into the red and the car pulls and pulls. On the highway passing power is much improved.
I put a awitch in mine, but I admit to having it off most of the time. Basically pin 14 is the orange wire coming from the ECU. Pull the aquarium cover and remove the ECU, you may have to unwrap or cut some of the tape or insulation on the ECU wire harness. Look for the 14 pin connector from the top of the connector starting on the left. It should have an orange wire coming from it. Cut the wire and then check to mke sure everything still works. If it does just install a small switch between the cut wire from Radio Shack or wherever, tape everyting back up and enjoy. Careful of those full throttle upshifts though.
Do you have a Maptun ECU? If so, are you happy with it?
Derek
