If I understand what you're saying correctly... Let's say you have two cars.
Car A) '97 CSE FPT 5 Spd (200 hp, right?)
Car B) '97 CSE FPT Auto (200 hp, right?)
Could you trick Car A into thinking its a manual by installing a switch on Pin 14 and notice an increase in torque/power? I'm curious. I thought that the FPT 200hp cars were running the same torque/power curves regardless of their tranny, but I have never driven an autobox FPT, and haven't taken any time to look into it.
Is your car more noticeable in this trick because all '98 5spds were equipped with TD04s?
